The Mercer Island High School Band offers motivated students significant leadership opportunities.
Drum Majors
The Drum Majors are elected each year by their peers as the leaders of MIHS Marching Band and beyond.
Section Leaders
Section Leaders are experienced band students that have been selected to support the band students in their sections. They are the first line of contact if questions arise.
Band Student Advisory Committee
The Band Student Advisory (BSA) Committee are elected by their peers in the fall.
Before summer band camp, the student leadership goes on a Senior Leadership Retreat.
