Welcome to 5th Grade Instrument Selection Process

We are excited to have your child enroll in the beginning instrument program at Mercer Island. We are doing things a little differently for 2020, so please read through the following two documents:

Ensemble classes: Tuesday, October 6th and Thursday, October 8th from 8:15am-9am.

Based on your instrument choice, we will meet in general ensemble groups next week. A general band and a general orchestra class will meet on these days. After next week, we will further divide our student groups into instrument-specific classes.

Mercer Island Porch Concerts ~ Mondays, 7pm

We are starting our inaugural, every Monday night, Mercer Island Porch Concerts. Set your reminder alarm for 7:00 p.m. on Mondays and head outdoors to hear our Mercer Island Band students playing their instrument and serenading our island!
