The Mercer Island High School Wind Ensemble was invited to prepare and record a demo recording of world renowned composer and trumpeter Allen Vizzutti's new work for wind band and trumpet soloist, The Enchanted Trumpet. Thank you to Mr. Vizzutti for sharing his brilliance and creativity with the students of the Mercer Island bands.

Help the band get ready for next year!
On Monday, May 23rd and Tuesday, May 24th, we are running our 4th grade instrument selection days. This is when we spend time with each 4th grade class to let each student pick up, explore, make sounds on, and figure out what instrument intrigues them for 5th grade Band. We need volunteers for this process. No experience required!
In early June and in during finals week, we need help sizing our 8th graders - 11th graders for next year's marching band! No experience required!
